Um muro protegido por uma santinha
Na esquina da rua José de Alencar e Professor Brandão no Alto da XV há uma pequena capelinha com uma santinha como hóspede no alto de um muro. Minha esposa que nasceu no Alto da XV comentou que a capelinha provavelmente foi instalada para proteger o muro, que certamente foi erguido para proteger a casa, já que acidentes eram ou são comuns nessa esquina.
Procurando mais informações na internet, descobri uma matéria da Gazeta do Povo exatamente sobre essa capelinha na qual é dito que a capelinha foi instalada há 70 anos na casa de Dona Nina (que em 2018 tinha 91 anos) e que a casa foi construída na década de 40 por seu avô Godofredo Reidler Assunção e que a Nossa Senhora de Fátima na capelinha foi ali colocada à pedido de sua esposa, Maria Geraldina Assunção.
